Explicit Evidence Systems with Common Knowledge
نویسندگان
چکیده
Justification logics are epistemic logics that explicitly include justifications for agents’ knowledge. We present a multi-agent justification logic with evidence terms for individual agents as well as for common knowledge. A Kripke-style semantics similar to Fitting’s semantics for the Logic of Proofs LP is defined and soundness and completeness with respect to it are shown along with the finite model property. Furthermore, we demonstrate that our logic is a conservative extension of Yavorskaya’s minimal bimodal explicit evidence logic, a two-agent version of LP. We discuss the relationship to multi-agent modal logic S4 with common knowledge. Finally, as an illustration we give a brief analysis of the problem of coordinated attack in the new language.

Implicit and Explicit Instruction and EFL Learners’ Implicit Knowledge Development: Evidence from Word Monitoring Task
Research on the effect of implicit and explicit instruction on developing learners’ explicit knowledge by the use of measures of explicit knowledge abounds in the literature. However, measuring learners’ implicit knowledge employing fine-grained measures has rarely been the concern of researchers in the field. Therefore, the present study is an attempt to scrutinize the effectiveness of implici...

Background & Aim: One of the basic and important needs of hemodialysis patients is vascular access. Nursing students as members of the health team and future nurses, play an essential role in the safety management of hemodialysis patients and therefore, their training is important to support patient safety. Today, evidence-based education with the objective of explicit and rational use of the b...
متن کاملMeasuring the Effectiveness of Explicit and Implicit Instruction through Explicit and Implicit Measures
Many studies have examined the effect of different approaches to teaching grammar including explicit and implicit instruction. However, research in this area is limited in a number of respects. One such limitation pertains to the issue of construct validity of the measures, i.e. the knowledge developed through implicit instruction has been measured through instruments which favor th...

متن کاملA Call for a Backward Design to Knowledge Translation
Despite several calls to support evidence-informed policy-making, variations in uptake of evidence into policy persist. This editorial brings together and builds on previous Knowledge Translation (KT) frameworks and theories to present a simple, yet, holistic approach for promoting evidence-informed policies. The proposed conceptual framework is characterized by its impact-oriented approach and...
